Fill in the blanks of the sample complaint letter at consumeraction.gov and show that store (or provider or manufacturer) that you mean business. Problem solved. (Of writing the complaint letter anyway.)
Created by Gerald Winkler, a German engineer, the Gekkomat includes four suction pads (for hands and feet) regulated by separate computers. The backpack has a series of valves and nozzles that convert compressed air into a vacuum - allowing you to climb the wall just like a gecko. (There's enough air for about a half-hour of climbing.)
The Gekkomat can hold up to 2,000 pounds too. Like any suction cup, it works best on smooth, solid surfaces - and it's not very fast yet as it cycles off with each step.
But it's still cool.
The idea took shape when Winkler undertook an Industrial Design assignment entitled "Up and About" at the Stuttgart National Academy of Visual Arts. He took the assignment literally and made sure his creation went up AND about.
After a trip to a hospital with flowers and a fruitless search for a vase, James and Jo Lott invented PopVase - a simple vase handmade from recycled paper and coated. PopVases come in a variety of colors.
This MSR PocketRocket Titan Kettle Kit is the world's lightest stove-pot combo - and it will boil water in just over two minutes. (The kettle can be used as a kettle, mug or bowl.) No priming, pressurizing or maintenance necessary.
The new ColdHeat Freestyle Cordless Glue Gun starts to melt glue in less than a minute. And the glue sticks to everything from sneakers to cable wire. It also has a power-save feature, low-battery indicator and automatic shut-off to extend the life of its rechargeable battery.
Pour in the water and watch it separate into hydrogen and oxygen, forming a gas to power your vehicle across the floor. Now that we have your attention, roll up your sleeves and find out more through experiments and demonstrations you can do on your own, in a classroom or with friends.
With this unique kit, you can build your own experimental reversible fuel cell car to learn more about this energy source. With more than 30 experiments and demonstrations, users will learn how a reversible fuel cell works to perform electrolysis as well as to create energy. The electricity required to activate electrolysis is created with a large solar cell included with the kit. During electrolysis, water is separated into hydrogen and oxygen and the resulting energy is stored as a gas. When needed, the gas is fed into the fuel cell, which then serves as the power source.
Just cut the top off of the pineapple and screw down the corer. Once you are at the bottom just pull out the meat and you're done. The pineapple is evenly sliced and you are left with a useable hull (for making fruity drinks in of course).
This Fusion messenger bag and a sunny day are all you need to charge your cell phone, PDA or iPod on the go. The solar panel on the flap is connected to a cigarette-lighter socket inside. Even on a cloudy day, you'll get a full charge in about the same time it would take using a wall outlet.
