By 2007, the market research firm predicts that half of the world's population - more than three billion - will be subscribers. (Yet nearly 20% of the world lives where there is no mobile coverage.)
In The Mobile Life Report 2006, 92 percent of those surveyed said they could not get through a typical day without using their cell phones.
