I had been a good girl on iTunes for quite some time. Then on July 1, I decided to buy Michael Buble's new album, Call Me Irresponsible, after hearing too many of the songs I liked on my Launchcast station. (They have threatened at work to stop letting us stream music because it eats up bandwidth. I don't know what I will do. I guess buy some decent iPod speakers for the office...but still.)
It set off some kind of chain reaction and I found myself glued to my chair-and-a-half for hours listening to snippets of songs. Only 10 days later:
- Marc Billz - Let It Go
- Ruthie Foster - Heal Yourself
- Eve - Tambourine (Great workout song)
- Tim Mcraw with Faith Hill - I Need You
- Faith Hill - Lost
- Tanya Donnely - Pretty Deep
- Joe Purdy - I Love the Rain the Most
- Diane Daly - This Nearly Was Mine
- Diane Daly - Don't Touch Me
- Pete Yorn - Suspicious Minds
- Neil Young - Heart of Gold
- Dexter Gordon - I Guess I'll Hang My Tears Out to Dry
- Stan Getz - Stella by Starlight
- Groove Armada - Hands of Time
- Gwen Stefani - What You Waiting For?
- Everclear - Santa Monica
- The Burning Effigies - Don't Kill the Mood
- La Rocca - The Truth
- Lynyrd Skynyrd - Tuesday's Gone
- Matt Costa - These Arms
- Amos Lee - Southern Girl
- Nerissa & Katryna Nields - This Town is Wrong
- Mariah Carey - It's Like That
- Grayson Capps - Waterhole Branch
- Confederate Railroad - She Never Cried
- Nina Gordon - Bones and a Name
- Julie Roberts - Rain on a Tin Roof
- Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit
- Chicago - Beginnings
- Amy Allison - Everything and Nothing Too
- Fiona Apple - I Want You (live with Elvis Costello)
- Mark Geary - Hold Tight
When you get in a certain mood, I think there should be an emergency release button on iTunes - where you can't buy another song without a 24-hour waiting period. Really. I need help. Please. ;)
