19 fresh mint sprigs, divided
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup fresh lime juice
10 cardamom pods, cracked
2/3 cup light rum
1/4 cup dark rum
2 tbsp orange-flavored liquer
1/2 tsp rose water
Ice
Chilled sparkling water
Using back of spoon, mash 15 mint sprigs, lemon juice, lime juice and cardamom pods in small bowl until paste forms, about 5 min. Add light rum, dark rum, orange liquer and rose water. Stir until sugar dissolves. Strain rum mixture into pitcher.
Fill four 8-oz glasses with ice. Divide rum mixture among glasses. Top with splash of sparkling water; garnish each with mint sprig and serve.
