The Hyundai MP280
Lenovo's new Perfume Phone (which retails for the equivalent of about $210) is a clamshell phone that heats a small chamber filled with a few drops of your favorite fragrance - infusing your wrist or purse or pocket whenever the phone is turned on.
And it's over $1,000 cheaper than the Hyundai MP280, which sells for $1,220.
Interestingly, BusinessWeek also mentioned Lenovo's cell phone recently, but in an article about the catch-22 of international design. They used the term "gold teeth design" to describe the problem of popular products in China not taking off in the U.S. A product is a hit in China, where it's more important to appear rich than to have a fat bank account. (That means companies - both foreign and local - often create products that sell well in China but not in other markets.)
