Mississippi Chorus Sponsors Messiah Sing-A-Long

At 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31, 2005, at Northminster Baptist Church, 3955 Ridgewood Road, Jackson, Mississippi, the public is invited to join The Mississippi Chorus and members of other community choruses from across the state for a Messiah Sing-A-Long, a fundraiser for the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra. 

Singers should bring their own scores plus $10, and then join in to sing Parts II and III of Handel’s Messiah under the direction of Dr. Timothy Coker, accompanied by members of the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra.  Those who prefer not to sing, but simply enjoy the music, may attend at no charge. A hat will be passed during the performance to help raise additional funds. All proceeds will benefit the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra.
