2,000 and counting...

Yesterday morning, I was at 1,995 Twitter followers, and I made a shameless plea to get to 2,000 by the end of the day. Shameless pleas obviously work - 'cause I had 2,002 followers this morning!

I'm sure if you read this blog regularly that you've noticed I am blogging less, but I am on Twitter most every day (excepting some weekends - I am making a conscious effort to live some offline too these days).

I've made lots of friends on Twitter - and I even drove three hours to New Orleans last month to meet some of them in person.

And we had a blast! See all of the pictures from the trip here.

I get by with a little help from my Twitter friends...

Todd offered to send a postcard to anyone who wanted one. (Of course I wanted one!) ;)

He and I were online chess buddies until he beat me so many times it didn't feel even quite like a game anymore. I told him I would like to think it was making me a better chess player - the repeated beatings - but I think it just made me humbler in the end. ;)

I've been having such fun on Twitter that I added a Twitter Fun category here and on Flickr. Stay tuned!
