    Katrina Cottage

I was near the Coliseum for a work function, when I saw the Katrina Cottage being loaded in the parking lot. Being the nosy person I am, I, of course, had to go have a look. They were loading the prototype up to take it to Orlando for the International Builders' Show.

Looks like they made it. Here's the model at the show.

It's kinda cute at least. A good idea. I'd like one in my back yard for guests.

    Hi nieghbors
Can anyone tell me how to find out about getting one of these cottages?
    Thank you

Hi Scott. Go there for info on that cottage. It can be built in 21 days for under 35K apparently.

Any builder or half decent carpenter can build this for a lot less than $114 per sq ft. Another example of the government and high priced self promoting designers making a big deal out of nothing. The sad part is that the Feds will probably buy this and throw away millions more trying to respond to critics and CYA.
