Someone pointedly pointed out to me that I have brought only men to my desert island. No apologies. It's my desert island - I want who I want.
And it looks like I have competition. Rex wants to bring ONLY Joe to his desert island. (I had both Joe and Rex listed on my 10 desert island blogs. Now they're throwing a luau without me.)
On Friday, Rex e-mailed me asking if I knew anything about Joe because I had "introduced" him to Joe's blog, book of joe, via this blog. (Both Rex and Joe are Honorary Mississippians under My Favorite Blogs, so they are both mentioned a lot here.) I told him what little I knew about Joe and encouraged him to e-mail Joe. He's nice, I said. He'll write back to you.
Well, I guess so. Now Rex has an exclusive interview with the mysterious Dr. Joseph A. Stirt. (Joe even reveals all of his sources to Rex!)
Maybe it's a male bonding thing. I've gotta find some chicks for my desert island now, I guess. Sheesh.
(I guess I will forgive Rex since he's showing me the town in Nashville on Saturday night. And since he also didn't list one of his blogger friends that he introduced me to on his blog, Steve Rubel.)
